Chapter 20: Epilogue-The Faire Finale

The following five shots are of the Faire as she stands Summer of 2015 as captured by Jason Elon Michelsen.

As of the end of Masque, the fate of Britannia Faire remained uncertain. There was talk about selling the land off for profit, or to individuals whom might actually wish to make their home between the hills, or if funds and a committed staff will once again take point and resurrect reenactment events on the land.

Given Theowyn's lack of communication with anyone whom might be able to shed some light on the subject; this story will conclude here, at the apex of a mystery.

The Faire forever to be preserved  just out of reality's reach.

The Leading Character as played by Britannia Faire Herself

Since the time of Faire conception, her lands have captured the hearts of many.  The following photos display the variety of shifts the Faire has worn over the years.

 During Winter's Rest...

...till the melt-waters come to welcome Spring...

...through mud, downpours, and squalls alike...

...water gathers to form the rising flood waters...

...that deposited the nutrients for the overgrowth of Summer.

 Cloaked in a thick fog...

...alight with a celestial setting on display...

...or aglow in the night's life...

...She has never ceased to take my breath away.

On this day, Friday September 18, of the year 2015, concludes the rough draft of Living a Fantasy, Volume One.

Having no idea what I was getting myself into when I started this project two years ago, I will happily admit that I am very excited to see it draw to a close.

The Faire Project taught me many things. While on the land it taught me to hone my senses; to appreciate the subtle sounds, sights, and smells of nature happening all around me. It gave me a vast appreciation for the tasks that can be accomplished by the sweat of one's brow and the strength of one's backs alone.

Only you can limit what your hands and feet are capable of.

This endeavor also helped me to realize, that as much as I enjoy being outside, cut off from civilization and technology; I wish others to experience the same.

And while I may not be able to convince individuals to step away from their computers, what I can do is provide some captures of natures eye candy and write about those experiences, in hopes that at least one individual finds a shred of interest and curiosity to get outside and explore the same for themselves.

While this volume closes, another one opens.

As for where I shall go and what I shall write about next...

Only wanders will tell.
